About the artist...
My work seeks to make tangible the intersections between architecture and sculpture, embracing an interplay of interactivity and elegance. Drawing from traditional wood joinery techniques, my pieces are then expanded to a larger-than-human scale — requesting contemplation and intentional celebration of simplicity.
I’m grateful to be able to draw inspiration from my family — growing up in England, art was always part of the discussion. My father designed furniture and my mother a painter. They supported my creativity from a very young age, and I see in my work a combination of their core values, iterated uniquely.
Conscientious of environmental health and the finite nature of life, my work is constructed from high-quality materials, maximizing both its physical longevity and the number of humans who can derive joy from it.
