About the artist...
Growing up in Bavaria, I spent much of my time drawing and painting. After moving to Santa Barbara from Munich, Germany in 1963, I developed a rewarding career in ceramics that lasted for over 30 years. I then returned to painting and now create abstract expressions of landscapes and emotions, with the hope that they invite viewers to personalize the work by integrating their own feelings and experiences.
