About the artist...
My paintings often lean towards three distinct channels: texture, detail and color. There is certainly a tactile presence swirling about these creations. Abstractions of these kinds are built to notice unique features, to make a statement, and for new discoveries to be found with in the topography of the works. When color comes front and center, as an artist I find myself becoming a “story teller,” often finding characters and generating fabled effects within the compositions.
